ProtoQuiz has been live for a month. The goal hasn't changed: help you learn your local protocols, not just generic NREMT material. In that first month users generated 2,500+ quizzes, completed 600+ scenarios and took 100+ algorithm quizzes (numbers below).
Reading PDFs
Everything starts with pulling medications, doses and algorithms out of your protocol PDF, and PDFs are messy. One county uses tables, another bullet points, another free text.
About half of launch uploads came through clean. We study every one that doesn't, fix the pattern in the parser, and the success rate keeps climbing.
What's next
Your feedback and feature requests drive the roadmap. Near term: better extraction and more scenarios. Longer term, we're exploring a version for agencies so a whole department can stay sharp on its protocols.
